Rattrap Opens The Speakeasy

Just behind the New Commerce Sun Times is a non-descript tenament. If you walk down the alley, pass by the piles of garbage, you will find a set of stairs leading to a basement level room. There are no signs on the door, but knock twice.

A large, mountain of a man will open the  door. Tell him that, "Mo sent you."

You'll then be in The Speakeasy, the Rattrap Productions' forums. These forums are broken down into categories for each game, so you'll still be able to filter out things you don't want to read, but you will also have the option to have everything in one place.

There is also a forum for Fantastic Worlds. I know most people have not seen it yet since we still have the playtesters giving feedback, but if you want to ask questions or beg Marc, the author, for some hints, you can feel free to do so.

I'll slowly be moving all the downloads from the websites to the forum as well. The downloads are in a locked forum so you won't have to sift through a ton of posts to find them. By doing this, we should be able to get you FREE downloads faster since they won't require coding on my part. Those for Gloire are already up and some of the ones for .45 Adventure are up (with the remainder to be up by next week).

Now, you will not need to register to get the downloads or read the posts. You will need to register if you want to post messages. I will also not be doing away with the Yahoo Groups. They will remain in place for those who prefer their announcements to come in e-mail.

Please be sure to read the Announcements forum first. There is a short list of things for forum etiquette you should know. And I do mean a short list. The last thing I want is to have the moderators having to take a heavy hand to posts.

Cool. For some reason Norton Anti-Spam hates you, and sends your account activation email straight onto the naughty step. Good job I spotted it sitting there looking all glum and sad.

My Norton has been suitably chastised and sha'n't be doing that again.

Just thought you might want to know, though I don't know if there's anything you can do about it.

You should only check those forums that you enjoy. We opened it up so that players for our games would have one stop to get any rules questions answered or share game ideas.

Like I posted, we'll be moving the downloads to there but you don't need to join in order to get them.

I should, just to get a new username. I've become aware that "hammershield" is a name that is more suitable on a GW forum...

...which is extra, extra embarrasing since it is pretty much my real name.

Here is a way for someone to make money.  Create a search portal for forums.  

I have no idea how it would work, but it would be nice.

You would specify what forums to search and it would go search those forums.  The same way google does it searches, but it would only be focus on forums.  

It could be the next Youtube.

That's not a bad idea.

Drop in the URLs for all the forums you frequent and have it pull up all new messages since your last visit.
