Front Rank Miniatures question
« on: 28 February 2018, 08:56:16 PM »
Does anyone know what the difference is between the 18th C  EQ8 6# cannon with the big barrel model/miniature and the EQ9 12# cannon model/miniature?

Thanks

It took me a while to find this shot but, the ones at the back are 12s and the ones at the front are long 6s.

There is a difference in the length of barrel (perhaps 5mm) but, most importantly, the carriage of the 12 is longer and wider. Personally, I don't like the stubby look of the short barrelled 6.

Thank you so much Olicana. These miniatures are wonderfully painted by the way. Was there a particular paint used for the jackets or was it something you mixed up?

I'm glad you like them.

All Humbrol mixes. The base was 62 and 33, the rest of the highlights were the same with 63 and 34 added.
