A nice rabble of miniatures on your blog. Do you plan on building the Governor's House in Sydney (it's a mini castle!) or any other ironic Sydney buildings?

Hah - you're not a fan of the style? ;)

(That said, if I ever was to set a game in Sydney, then Hyde Park Barracks would be on the top of the list.)

Hey Lucky,

The ‘Governors House’ scenario takes place in the park/gardens north off the castle. No plans to build it :). As to real buildings one of the guys has taken on building the Dry Dock Hotel Balmain the scene of some rioting/fighting in the 1930s I’m told. It had an Art Deco rebuild removing its balconies before 1932, he’s talented so I’m looking forward to seeing it!!! Other than his work there’ll be Sarissa terraced buildings and shops repurposing my existing stuff...

The Dry Dock Hotel currently, 1930s pictures which show it similar to this...

First Improvised Armoured Vehicle - The Great Antipodean Adventure
« Reply #18 on: 04 January 2018, 04:20:54 AM »
Okay the first Improvised Armoured Vehicle hit the tabletop. It's abit basic but that's what I'd expect..

Here is a group of men from one of the All Australia League’s Volunteer Rifle Companies advancing around an armoured Crossley Tender.

More pictures and information are on the blog...

I've run a test using FUBAR rules and the first scenario played out okay, need a bit of tweaking for balance though this weekend I'll replay it with a World aflame rules to see what they're like.

Hi All,

Well decided on a rule set for use with this campaign, A World Aflame (with a few small mods). I'll put a post up with my thoughts on these in the next couple of days on the TSOG Blog.

Here's a picture of the latest bit of improvised armour that'll show up in the games...

A uniformed command group from the Anglican League lead the 2nd Volunteer Rifle Company into action with their new Crossley Armoured Car!

Some more improvised armour has rolled out of the Randwick Tramway Workshop to assist in the street fighting in the Sydney suburbs!

Men of the All for Australia League's 17th Volunteer Rifle Company advance cautiously accompanied by their Randwick Armoured Car near Beaconfield's Park...
