Finally the leagues managed to find the way to the Secret German Research Base. The goal is: Destroy the base to prevent further research on Dino Weapons!
The NKVD begins the game with initiative. As long as the leagues manage to solve minor plot points, they will remain undetected. After solving two minor plot points, the major plot point appears.
A view of the battlefield: The german jungle base.
A research object
The leagues enter the field from opposide sides.
Flying guardians!
At first, everything went well. Both leagues managed to solve minor plot points and the germans were unsuspecting. But then the trigger-happy Japanese couldn´t hold any longer and open fire on one of the guards! Of course this awakens the reinforcements….
Japanese heavy fire let one of the flying terrors crash!
Another Soldiers throws a grenade right into the watchtower, eliminating the sentry.
But now its time to fight back for the german defenders.
Reinforcements arrive in the rear of the Russians.
Exposions everywhere, as more germans pour out of the buildings.
And the fight gets intense. Both leagues came under pressure, no time for solving more plot points.
The Japanese try to get inside the dino cage where the major plot point is located, but this proved to be very difficult.
German leader Fieldmarshal Von Kluck arrives and throws himself fanatically into the battle!
On the other side the NKVD fights relentlessly against the Nazis!
After a titanic battle, Von Kluck goes down!
The Japanese now fight against everyone: Germans , Russians, Dinos….
Will the dinosaur realize that the electric fence is offline?
The Japanese are paying for their boldness.
After six rounds of intense fighting, the battle ends as more german defenders force the leagues to retreat – before solving the major plot point.
They did a lot of damage, but was it enough to destroy the german research and prevent their plans to establish a force of fighting dinosaurs? Maybe we will see what the future brings about Jurassic Reich....
It was a great campaign with tons of fun for players and GM. We will definitely play more Pulp Alley in the future.
