Thought long and hard about whether to just start a new thread or commit Threadomancy from the Dawn of Time here.

This project is starting up again. I got some minis from Reaper a couple of years ago that have just stayed in a box. I never sent 4A a message about those Harlequin minis (sorry to both Dr Falkenhayn and Manic Moner for that one!) but have got some dudes and dudesses I'd be happy to lever into the Elvish United Nations. I'm going to start painting this afternoon (for the first time in about 2 years). I think small groups is the way to go, maybe four troopers and a command/special as a reward.

Also done a little research into 'other' Elves... so a question for Heldrak I suppose. When you were researching the origins and development of the Elf lines, did you consider Marvel as a source? Of course, Malekith was Marvel's King of the Dark Elves before he was Warhammer's King of the Dark Elves. Marvel's Dark Elves also regularly appear as blue-skinned. Not the D&D purple-brown-black of the Drow, but a kind of mid-blue. A possible source for the blue 'Dark Elves' of Warhammer?

Dark Elves – Marvel

Night Elves - Warcraft
Asrai (Wood Elves) – Warhammer
Asur (High Elves) – Warhammer
Druchii (Dark Elves) – Warhammer (both kinds)
Sea Elves – Warhammer
