And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

Here's a thought for the Fencibles: have yourselves a massive base texturing project so that all the figures have the same textured bases.  You'll be pleasantly surprised at how that works out.  But maybe mark the underside of bases first with an ownership code!  Might be hard to tell who owns what afterwards.

Not sure I'm ready for the project (I'm the one who would do all or most of it) but marking the underside is a great idea, in the event our memory starts slipping. Of course, then there's our Napoleonic stuff, and the ACW, and the 1870, etc., etc.

Marking under the bases is a good idea, it suffices after the game to have a look under  ;)
A good friend of mine has painted houses for me and him.
After finishing our games, almost all the houses leave the field loaded in his boxes  lol (it is good that I see him often)
