I've been really enjoying the gameplay of AT-43 and I really enjoy the pre-painted minis, but I think what I'm going to set out to do is a nice upgrade...I really enjoy having detailed bases and better paint jobs than what they came with....so, I'll probably be adding to a lot of the paint jobs and may be redoing some of the paint jobs and definitely adding to the bases of everything.... so first I've started with my Cogs Army..... you can see here where I'm going with this. I think it'll be a fun project....

Couple more Cogs finished... I showed a before and after so you can see what I'm doing. For the most part the minis have a nice base coat... so I'm following with detail painting, wash layering and highlights...

Finally found a complete Cogs army box and Red Blok army box... armies are starting to fill out nicely... can't wait to start on the red blok once I finish the cogs....

This game looks so cool. I only got to know about it after the company went bankrupt. But I will keep my eye on this. Great stuff.

Bunch more COGS finished... also test painted one of my new modular battle tiles from secret weapon miniatures wasteland series... this is 1 of 16... went for an arid feel.. this will work great for this game, gaslands, some of my mech games... all around very versatile....

Had some time to work today and finished up about a 3rd of my karmans bases... went for the muddy first snow look. I won't be doing much to their paint jobs as the Karmens had some of the best out of the box...

Finished the bases of the last of the Karmans... nice balanced force... a few more airships I couldn't quite squeeze in the lightbox are also in the crew.... next to finish the COGS then it's on to the 2 forces that will need a lot more paint work... the U.N.A. and the Red Blok... Therians will need minimal body work with upgraded bases and I've yet to locate any Oni army for less than some black market kidneys...

Looking great. I honestly love AT-43 and ended up collecting the whole range. Sadly since I moved about a year ago I don’t have anyone to play with anymore.

I've been away from this project for a bit, but I thought I'd share some photos of a skirmish I played the other day... I finally found a reasonably priced Oni army... so I tried them out against the Therians... very fun army to play. I hope to start back up on these guys soon after finishing a different project.

A proper visual treat!

I am surprised that this system/game/setting did not last as I had a whole bunch of these a few years ago that a friend wanted me to sell for him.
They looked pretty damned good for pre-painted stuff.
You are doing a superb job taking them to the next level.
