Wargames Foundry and Perry Miniatures Compatibility A.C.W.

The Civil War Bug has finally gotten hold of me.  I would like to know if the Perry Minaitures A.C.W. 28mm Metals are compatible with the Wargames Foundry A.C. W. .  Can the figures be mixed in the same units?  both Ranges have a lot of figures I would like to have in my Armies and I would hate to choose one over the other. 

 I know that this has been covered before but I have spent the better half of Saturday Afternoon looking for the post with no luck.  Pictures would be a godsend.

I dont have any foundry infantry to compare but they are from the same size as the foot cavalry.

There are slight differences but I mix Perry plastics and metals with Foundry.  Some of the Perry metals appear taller, certainly over the old plastic set but nothing too troublesome.

Thank you for your feedback, this gives me a sense of relief in developing my Armies.  Both ranges offer a lot of uniqueness and individuality for the regiments I am planning.  I am grateful.
