In the story it seems like figures die quick.

When a hit is scored it has one of three effects, you hit the dirt and get yer melon down, you hit the deck 'cos you're wounded, you hit the deck... 'cos yer dead!
You can suffer two wounds, the third sees yer off... simple, innit?
