Actually, if you notice the * next to some of the figures required, a number of the nationalities can be used for others, such as Armenians, Azeris, Persians, Russians, and Kurds. You don't need all of those listed for each nationality. I don't even have that!

Also, as noted in the book, to cut down on the numbers of figures required for the Ottoman forces (Turks and Azeris), the scenarios use wave attacks, which is also exactly as they were used in the historical actions they reflect. This really helped to keep numbers reasonable for battles reflecting WWI in the Caucasus/Persia in 28mm.

Does this have any info on uniforms/dress of the various forces involved?

Yes, but depends.

For the British, that info is widely available in other sources, though tropical kit (sun helmets, shorts, often shirt-sleeve order) was worn since the actions averaged about 85-degrees with regard to weather.

For the Turks, the figures available for other theaters are perfect.

The unique info, is what is provided for the Azeris, Armenians, Assyrians, Jangalis, etc. In reality, these troops appeared somewhat alike, so the same figures can be used for them. There is not much information available for these troops, but I cobbled together what I could find, aimed (of course) at the wargamer and what figures are useful for representing them on the tabletop.

Not yet my friend, working on the Turks and Arab types at the moment, so it won't be too long before I am delving deep. My problem is, I just can't bring myself to play with unpainted miniatures.

I will do some nice batreps once underway.
