Hope those Indians don't suffer too much 'pain' on the table.  Nice figures and really like your naval crew though they look decidedly Napoleonic rather than FIW!  Says he who has Napoleonic marines in his Pirate collection.  Well, they are there now but there replacements are in line to get painted (after they get cleaned up and primed).  I've never liked thick bases but I do like the way you've textured your bases, though - again - the naval figures bases do kind of stick out.  Easier issue in my 15 mm scale.

Thank you. More Indians on the paint table to reinforce them so they should be pretty lethal. The uniforms where hard to research as most my results cane up looking more napolionic era. But I'm happy with how they look, other then the bases. Ideally I'd like to have them on clear bases but couldn't cleanly remove them from casted base. Wanted it sand like but probably could have put more material on.

It's not your paint job that makes them look Napoleonic - it is their attire as sculpted.  Not sure there was much of a formal naval uniform at this time period.

Their was not to my knowledge, at least with regards to non-officers, it tended to be what looked practical/took the captains fancy.

Ah good to know. Well I wanted them to really stand out as a British crew so I think I'm fine with it not matching up historically perfect lol.

I would have no problem with those sailors in a game - and you have a head start on a Barbary Pirates game.

While you call them British, but they could also stand in for Americans - or so says I.
