Korean Air War Sources?

Greetings,

Does anyone know some good, easy to access sources for the Russian/Chinese/North Korean forces during the Korean Air War? 

I have a pretty good grasp of what the UN forces could field during the air war, but not as many good sources on the opfor. 

Any ideas?

Do you mean for miniatures or information? For information I would suggest Osprey books, they're good for looks and markings. Albeit at times you have to be careful as there are artistic liberties taken.

Squadron and signal publications have a few books on different aircraft from various wars. They're more in depth and describe combat uses, derivations in camouflage and whatnot. Which can be interesting for the modeller.

I looked into this several years ago, when I need colour schemes for 1/300 aircraft.
I remember going to a show in the uk, and myself and a mate both bought a copy of a hardback, a4 book, showing plenty of colour plates of the aircraft involved.
We were absolutely made up, that we had colour pictures of what we were after.
If we had looked a little closer, we would have noticed the book was written in Polish...oh well, it was the pictures we were after.

Then about a year ago, I bought a paperback, a4 publication by W. H. Smiths in the uk.
I guess it was called Air war over Korea.
This too had colour pictures in it, that would be useful.
You may be dale to still get it on line ?
