Holy Order
« on: 14 April 2020, 12:18:01 AM »
Whilst looking for my oil paints, I found these in the box of "oils".....Don't ask, so they are on my bench

Gripping Beast Late Crusader Holy Order, will be doing them as late Hospilitars in red. Flags are made from Tomato puree tubes

so I now have 23 horses to paint instead of the 12, I was planning to do this morning!
If it isn't enjoyable, it isn't gaming!

23 horses and a few cattle as well?

It's always nice to find some hidden gems stashed away.  :)

The other 12 horses are for my Saxon Cavalry, which is why I was looking for the oil paints :o :o

Knight's of St John (Hospitilars) in their later habits 1250's. 28mm Gripping Beast Holy Order
The varnish whitened slightly which adds to the dusty bunch of monks!

Those are great!  I love the weathered campaign look.  I have trouble pulling that off and yours are wonderful.
