Army of Darkness Deadites
« on: 22 September 2019, 05:41:18 AM »
As Halloween approaches an old man’s fancy turns to one of his favorite movies and gaming projects:  Army of Darkness.  I just finished 6 more Deadites and will begin 6 more tomorrow.  Figures are from the old Leading Edge Games Army of Darkness line.

Yup! The same ones you painted for the cover photo on the boxed set.  I love those old figures.  Of course, my efforts are a pale imitation of your work.

I did those so long ago. I still have a few of the minis from those covers.

I’d love to see fresh photos of them.  I’m a huge fan of the old LEG Army of Darkness figures.  I have close to 200 painted Deadites and more than 80 painted knights and men-at-arms.  I game on a castle made for me by Craig Lechner back when he still made wargame buildings.  There’s even a small stable that hides the Deathmobile.

I'll have to see what I still have and get them in front of the camera. All I could find was the Lawnmower Man minis I painted. Ohm, and this Deathmobile that I painted more recently for a friend:

Here’s my version of the Deathmobile.  Not even close to your standard but it gets the job done in my games.
