Shetland leg of GBnU IT 21st November 2019

Have finally agreed a date for this years Shetland tournament.
We have moved away from the normal weekend event to a Thursday night.
The event will be held on Thursday 21st November 2019.
1830 to 2130
The location is the Isleburgh center in Lerwick.
As usual the rules are Hott 2.1 with the base width 40mm.
There will be amazing prizes and gifts provided by Dragonfrog games.
And if this isn't enough the wife will be making homebakes!

We held the Shetland leg of The GBnU competition on Thursday night. We held the leg on a normal club night rather than booking a room for the weekend. Not sure how well it worked as we only got 4 players plus myself.

Paul with Barsoomian Tharks
Sean with his fantasy Spartans
Martin with Carthaginians
George with Dwarfs
I used my Barsoomian Red man army.

Seans fantasy Spartans and Stronghold. This stronghold was voted as best stronghold by players.

Martin actually came first but as he was providing the prize passed this to Paul who came second.

This prize was a Battle Valor games Elvian army provided by Dragon Frog games.

Sean was presented with some Elvan buildings as winner of the best stronghold. You can see he is pretty overcome.
There was also runner up prizes for all other players. Who of  course also received the wonderful Give away gifts created by Dragonfrog.

Nice work. I keep promising the boss that we will visit Shetland, so make sure you announce next year's date well in advance
