Hubbard's World, a Fantastic Worlds Star Trek Campaign
« on: 22 December 2019, 02:48:19 PM »
Hello everyone.

I have decided to run a Star Trek skirmish campaign using Rattrap Productions Fantastic Worlds rules, based off their .45 Adventure 2nd Edition.

You can read all about the premise and the rules changes I've made here:

And Part One, Outpost Laertes, is up here:

I'll update this thread when new AARs are posted. I'm happy to answer any questions about the game, miniatures or scenario. Just ask!

Thanks for looking!

Sounds like fun.

I shall be watching this space.

I checked out, and downloaded the free demo rules for these sets.  They look interesting.  I like the use of D10s instead of D6s to differentiate stuff a bit better.

Are there any Quick Reference Sheets for these rules available?

Mako: There's a quick combat reference sheet in the back of .45 Adventure 2nd edition, which is what I was using. You don't really need any other reference sheets since it's not really the kind of game that makes you look stuff up a lot. :) I used .45 Adventure for the core mechanics (including combat), since Fantastic Worlds is based off that game anyway. It's a great set of rules that really captures TOS Trek as well as swashbuckling science fiction, like Buck Rogers and John Carter. Highly recommended!

Part 2 is now up: Race to the Source!
