Fistful of Lead in the peninsular war?

I am fairly certain that folks have already done Napoleonic PSA with FfoL. I have always been a fan of Bernard Cornwalls Sharpe novels, and FfoL is perfect for gaming them. However, I am not really up on Napoleonics. What would be a logical opponent force for Sharpe?

French, Spanish who follow the new French king (Napoleon's brother),
Rogue Bandits. By the way there is a lot of variety within 'French'
e.g. Irish 'French', Polish 'French' , Swiss 'French', to name but a few.

We've found a mixed unit of French Light Infantry and a couple of Dragoons to be Sharpie's best opponents. Various dastardlies have included that French spy bloke who broke Sharp's telescope and the snidey, treacherous French Cavalry Colonel.
On the stocks at the moment are gang of Spanish guerrillas, which I'm hoping can be used against both the British and the French.
Here's some of the goodies and baddies fighting over a bridge...

Thanks gentlemen. Harry I assume you mean dismounted dragoons? I’m playing solo or with my son in law at most, so I am not looking at a big collection.

Yep, I think you can just make out the Dragoons crossing the field in the first piccy. We've got about half a dozen mounted French blokes, Dragoons and Hussars, but haven't used 'em yet.
Here's the dynamic duo, Harpe and Sharper...
And a slightly better piccy of the dismounted Dragoons...
