The updated Deadlands RPG KS is live, so I figure I'd use it as an excuse to paint some Deadlands mini's in the queue - some as far back as 1997.

If you don't have a copy of Deadlands, pick up the Helping Hands bundle, for a free starter copy of the previous edition. : https://www.peginc.com/product-category/free-downloads/

First up, are Reaper Bones Prairie Queen Tick and Giant Ticks. Last coat on the giant ticks was Tamiya Clear Smoke. Background is Loke Battlemat's Dungeon Books.

They look Gross! Good job!  :D
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Thanks!
I wasn't sure if they turned out right, since they looked dull before the Tamiya Clear.

Desert Thing from Reaper Bone's Savage Worlds : Deadlands line.

Went with the fleshy style and stole the radioactive mouth idea from another painter.  :D
Usually, I avoid flesh washes for human figures, but it works for monsters.
Unfortunately, the two parts of the mouth don't fit well together, but a Reaper base will hold them.

Starting the "Deadlands : Great Rail Wars" figures. This one is a bearded dude with a pipe and rifle. I started with zenithal priming of brown then white, followed by a brown Army Painter wash, then basecoats and glazes of various Reaper browns and grays.

The Pinnacle Entertainment Group Deadlands RPG continues, so I'm still painting figures from their OOP Deadlands: Great Rail Wars set!

Zenithal priming of white on brown. Reaper Tanned skin and various browns and ochres. Mebbe I should paint his pants to match his vest, dunno.
