I just finished first 2 as a test,





really nice figures.
These were a colour scheme test. On the next ones i'm going to go for a brighter green on the bodies, A much darker green on the scales and ridges,
and for the white bellies i'll go for an ochre base and work up from that. the grey/ white seems a bit too stark.

They also need another shading step between the darkest green and the mid tone.

other than that i'm happy

As you said, the contrasts might be a bit too dark. The eyes look excellent btw!

Jim if you can the eyes could do with a really really fine blacklining just to make them pop!
