Dr. Mabuse and the Fellowship of the Frog!

Terrorizing the seamy underbelly of Europe’s greatest cities is the super criminal gang known only as the Fellowship of the Frog! Who are these strange crooks dressed in such bizarre garb and raspy face masks?



And who is the evil mastermind behind them, pulling the strings?



Could it be old Dr. Mabuse, the greatest genius of murder, mayhem, and madness that Europe ever knew? Impossible, Interpol states! Mabuse, now old and blind, has sat in a Berlin asylum for over twenty years now! But what of those rumors that he still pulls the strings with his powerful mind control powers even as his physical body rots away...?

These were fun to paint. My inspiration came from the Wallace Krimis as well as the Lang Mabuse crime films. Hope you all enjoy.
