How hard is the resin (if the skulls needed cutting off the Immortalis sculpts)?

The heads are provided separately for the Immortalis. 
(NOTE not for the Desertum, the heads there are cast together!)

I have some of the old GW Tallarn figures - coincidentally I just dug 'em out and primed a bunch - are the figures in your range going to be designed to be pretty compatible size wise?
