Fantasy Operation Last Train
« on: 06 March 2021, 03:06:25 PM »
(Well Operation Portal)

In 2019 Joseph McCullough of Frostgrave etc. stuck a free and easy set of sci fi rules up to raise money for Children in Need.

I've played quite a few times and made donations as per the (still active) Just Giving page on Joe's blog:

Quite a few people have done fantasy reskins so I copied one and had a play with my repainted Empire of The Dead Brotherhood.

Basic summary is kill the undead, search the houses for survivors, summon a portal and get the survivors out.

I will be playing a campaign with my 12 monks, completing scenarios until all my heroes are dead.

At that point I will tot up the total number of survivors and pay 10 pence for each into Joe's funding page - if I do well that should be at least £10 - every little helps.

I managed to find 13 this time and only 1 was killed.

Here's a few pics.

Excellent concept and execution. I look forward to seeing how your monks fare in such a noble endeavor.
