Anyone have any resent dealings with Newline

placed a small tester order to check the quality of their 20mm napoleonic line

and aside from the paypal message I haven't had any contact

I sent a follow up email - not about the order but about other items in their range and had no reply either

Just checking others experiences before I think about geting on the phone to them

I've got quite a lot of their stuff (most recently in January), and they've always played it very square with me.

I had a small order in with them in February, took a couple of weeks to come, which was fine.

First packs on their way - if I like the scale and detail I know I'll be ordering a bucket more

Baggage Train, on the other hand...my mother, on another continent, reports that a package has just arrived there for me, more than two years after I placed the order. I don't know if this is the fault of the South African postal service, mind you. BT may be innocent.

Be interested to know what you think of them, I was looking at some Wurtemburg infantry to go with my HaT plastics.

I will certainly report back but as I under stand it they are a bit smaller than 1/72 plastic stuff more like 1/76

Haven't collected plastic minis since I was a kid but my old man tells me he still has a tin of them in the loft so I might end up picking them up next time I'm round

I did find one picture while I was researching what scale newline minis were

A bit of a size difference but separate units a bit of basing jiggery pokery and they may work!

They are certainly very nice pieces - minimal flash, sensible poses - I've only a couple of packs of rifelmen but will be placing a bigger order over the weekend

nothing too overwhelming just enough for sharp practice

and maybe a silver bayonet side project...
