Yarkshire Gamer 1/700 WW2 Naval Project Thread
« on: October 16, 2022, 12:05:29 PM »

https://yarkshiregamer.blogspot.com/2022/10/1700-z32-german-destroyer.html

As I put the latest Project together I thought I would do a thread for the Project so drop by regularly for new updates.

The latest ship is the German Destroyer Z32 and my first attempt at masking tape.

Very cool.

There seems to be something wrong with the link though (probably a missing l off the end)

What length are the models, they look very impressive?

The bases for the destroyers are 22cm x 6cm whilst those for the Capital ships are 42 x 10

You are cracking along with these. That Hood model is impressive, I’m guessing a 50cm long base?

Don’t really fancy the chances of the German destroyers…

Base is 420 x 100, the next ship is Bismark so its the Hood that's a bit worried  lol

I've started a series of short videos to go along with this Project.

The link above will take you to the first video which deals with the start of my Bismark build, I plan to do Kit Reviews, Builds, Tutorials, ship histories and maybe even some game play when I get going.
