Does anybody recognise these 3rd party Blood Bowl figures?
« on: 09 March 2023, 12:43:25 PM »

Clearly some sort of were creatures. I imagine that I picked them up with a view to adding them to my Norse team in the dim & distant past.

Does anybody know who the manufacturer is or the event they were made for? There are no markings on the base tabs other than what could be the copyright symbol and 09PR on the smaller werewolf(?)

Thanks!

So it seems that the big guy on the left is "Ulfwerener A", sculpted by Pakulkan for the 2007 Skull Cup El Prat, Barcelona, Spain. It's one of two different sculpts, and is probably quite a limited and moderately-valuable miniature!

The smaller one on the right is a Valkyrie Man-wolf by Impact! Miniatures, and sculpted by Phil Bowen (hence the initials "PB" on the tab I presume).

Ta very much!

After posting I came across a great reference site (https://blood-bowl-miniatures.de/) including photos of a bunch of tournament miniatures (https://blood-bowl-miniatures.de/collectorstuff/lots-of-other-tournaments-miniatures/). From this, it looks like the big chap was also used at the Carrot Crunch 2007 tournament.

I’ve unearthed another werewolf, for Blood Bowl I think, that I’ve not been able to identify in my searches.

Base tag marked ‘WOO’ or ‘WOD’ on one side and what appears to be  ‘©P2007’ on the other.

I had an inkling that it was Willy Miniatures, but apparently not.

Does anyone recognise it? Thanks.

Turns out that it’s Goblin Forge and he’s called Papat. Trust inspiration to strike right after I posted. Sod’s law.
