Starting 28mm British Airborne which figure ranges scale well together please?

Afternoon all, with the upcoming Empress Kickstarter it got the grey matter going and now I've decided to get together a Force of British Airborne for CoC, Bolt Action size games and maybe a bit of 0200 Hours. Having no patience and wanting to make a start I ordered a section from Warlord Games with an HQ pack to get it all going and was wondering the best ranges to mix with them for a nice bit of variety with an eye to joining said Kickstarter to complete. I know humans vary in size etc but it's how the weapons scale from Artizan proper chunky to the more realistic but delicate seen on Offensive for example. As always any help would be very much appreciated and many thanks in advance
