I have been reading what Captain Nolan had to say about Indian irregular cavalry in the Anglo-Sikh Wars.  As you might expect it is all very interesting stuff.
 
Today’s post on my blog is about Irregular cavalry in the British employ. Nolan could not speak highly enough about their performance.
