ACW 6mm Adler
« on: 02 February 2024, 08:36:31 AM »
With the sad news that Adler are going to stop their fabulous 6mm ranges next year I have had a push to continue my ACW project and order a large 6mm pile of ACW minis.

Here are some Confederates.

I am following the OOB for Gettysburg, starting with Day 1, Bulford and Wadsworth against Heth and Pender.

The way I'm building is one base of figures per 100 men listed in the OOB returns, rounded up if the unit number are '50'+ and rounding down if -'50'.

I am to use Black Powder or the ACW version of Live Free or Die

Sad news indeed.  I recall buying my 1st Adler figures back in the early '90s. I wonder if anyone will pick them up as a "going concern"? There seemed to be no indication on the announcement I saw of him trying to sell the ranges but who really knows.

Those look great Frostie, although I’m now upset as I didn’t know Adler 6mm was on its way out - I better get saving and planning for what I (may) need in the future.
