I just picked up these minis from Michigan Toy Soldier, lovely stuff indeed, full photo review here https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2024/06/wargames-atlantic-28mm-medieval-foot.html

Thanks for the review! This looks like a great kit, adding to the plastic medievals kits that are coming out these days. What I would love to see them put out is a set of plastic Saracens/Muslims (I must admit I know next to nothing about the differences in that period) for the Crusades, or something Reconquista gaming... As I hear the Gripping Beast offering isn't great.

What's nice about this is that with one box you've basically got two sides for some small skirmish gaming. Add maybe some metal commanders for flair, or a box of the foot sergeants they'll be coming out with, for variety, and you're solid.

Victrix will be releasing Islamic figures for the period.

Looking forward to seeing future sets in this range as now contemplating The Anarchy along with various other periods inspired by the various plastic kits I've acquired.

Great review, thanks for that. Looks like I will need to get a box in due course.

FriendlyMeighbourhoodNerd, Wargames Atlantic already have a couple of sets of Andalusians available as STLs. Whether/when they make it into hard plastic depends, I suppose, on their agreement with Footsore, and on demand from Atlantic Digital subscribers.

FriendlyMeighbourhoodNerd, I have painted Gripping Beast's Arab Cavalry and Infantry, both are solid workable sets albeit somewhat limited in poses.

They do look fabulous and I will be adding several boxes to my collection of Plantagenet wars, first and second barons wars.

Cheers

Steve, I didn't know, I'll check em out. Thanks!

Anton, thanks for the pics and review. I might have to reconsider and grab a set of these - 40 figures for €20-25 is very nice indeed.

Sorry to hijack this thread :P
