Just Another Two Bit Night
« on: 22 November 2009, 09:27:39 AM »

The boys went at it again tonight. It all started when Shenanigan Red uncovered a plot by Yip Pang to kipnap Lady Elaine.

Arriving just in time, Red's men were able to reach Lady Elaine before the dastardly pirates got their dirty hands on her --

(Above - one of the pirates opened up on Rex Hardin from across the village. In the ensuing exchange of lead, both men went down.)

Emerging from the jungle edge, the nefarious “Machinegun Jimmy” guns down another of Lady Elaine’s would-be rescuers --

(Above – Yip Pang’s right-hand man, barely visible in the center background, puts his infamous guns to their deadly work.)

It only took a moment for Yip Pang the rush in and take young Lady Elaine in his steel grasp, right under the nose of Shenanigan Red --

(Above - the evil Yip Pang luckily escapes unharmed from the combined firepower of Red and Doctor Castus.)

Yip’s pirates move in to support their boss. Can nothing stop them? --

(Above – cowardly to the core, Yip calls out to his sidekick “Shoot them! Shoot them all!”)

Perhaps it is blind loyalty which drives Machinegun Jimmy to rapidly fire into the swirling melees on either side of him. Perhaps not --

(Above – Jimmy’s wild gunfire seriously injures one of his own men, his own boss, and Doctor Castus as well.)

And then the mayhem started...

Nice one. I love henchmen who know when to fire their gun for maximum effect - no matter who or what they hit. That's always of secondary importance.

Its fun to see some shots of a game in action like this. VERY COOL, mate. THANKS for sharing!

One question, I am wondering about the counters I see on the table. Perhaps it is a silly question, but what purpose do they serve?

Great sounding scenario, miniatures and terrain. What rules did you use? I have most of my Pulp range finished, now I need some rules...fun, simple and easy to play. I have two boys who would love to throw some dice during Christmas break. Thanks for sharing, and thanks in advance for any advice.

As always, terrific models and fantastic terrain.  This weekend I'm going to see if I can't make similar terrain for my gaming group.  I just hope it turns out as well as yours.
