Welcome back Bill with these lovely forthcoming releases from Hicksie.

The Highlanders really look the part. Why isn't the RSM not shouting at someone?  lol

Best wishes,

No need for shouting when a 'Steely Scot Squint" will do. Glad you like the figures.

Having had a run in with the RSM of the Black Watch many years back I have to agree with Pauls comment. "Gulp!"  lol

Beautiful work Paul, and welcome back Bill  :)
I'm sorry to say I am still resisting, but these must surely be amongst the best WWI figures anywhere, ever. Very evocative of the period and the characters they represent.

Highland Battalion Command

I am looking at the stretcher bearer again, taking a swig of, um, water to fortify himself against the horrors of the trenches. Brilliant.

Not soddin' fair!

As a chapel-fearing, pureblooded boyo of Welsh stock, I have REFUSED to paint a Scottish wargames figure for close to 40 bloody years. On bloody principle, see you!

And now I may have to!
