Hello all,

For the update this week I have a few more rocket orcs for the waagh.  I use these on the trucks to represent their rocket weapons.

I also have a new battle report.  This one with max horsepower as the orcs take all their new rides into battle.

A few pictures

Enjoy and thanks

Hi LouieN - I'm more interested in the model you're using as a Marine Dreadnought at the moment - I'm wrestling with various models trying to find one that'll work myself.
Also - I've just posted on Daeothar's Lightyear topic about the 'Lightyear Zyclops & Pods' set being a really good proxy for 15mm Marine drop pods - well worth taking a look, I think.

Hello All,

A simple update for this week.  another basic squad for the mechanized brigade.

Also a additional fire support in a the form of a mortar squad.

All the models are GZG models New Swabian line.

Thanks

Nice batreps.

I've always imagined that games would be more tactically rewarding at a smaller scale, but I could never get on with the tiny figs.

Hello All,

My workbench will be all over the place for some time.  I am working some projects for friends while still focusing on my 15mm Sci-fi and Fantasy projects.

I needed to clear some space around the paint table and these vehicles had been nearly complete for some time.  They just needed some detail work added.  That is done now and I an call them done.

These are the vehicles for the Planetary Defense Force (PDF).  I debated how to bring them into my ash waste grim dark map.  In the end, I decided to keep them in a more high desert setting and use the mechanized brigade forces as invaders.  I re painted the the basing colors of the the brigade to match what the PDF will be.  The armored Brigade are still classic grey, but their corporate masters re-directed them to take a different planet.

All these vehicles are the classic Ground Zero games 15mm NAC vehicles.  They are wonderful and very beefy metal models.  I am glad to have them.

More detailed shots are on the blog page. Including a custom storage box I found for them.  The weight of these models means the pluck foam trays I usually use bend under the weight.

Thanks and enjoy

Really good work! I think you’re right: GZG works great for Guard/PDF troops.
