I know this topic is very old :D but maybe somebody can help me out. I scoured the internet for some pictures where ppl used the revenants as a base and added regular arms from FFG or perry or what not... because nothing really says undead, except for the faces, that only a mother could love, right? even the regular arms seems "normalish", so could probably be used in a conversion...

did somebody mix the parts with regular humans and can report? :) or has seen pictures?

Thanks for your help!

Here's a Gallic Chieftain I did by using a revenant torso and officer helmet (the arms are from Victrix Greek Heavy Cavalry, lower body is Conquest Miniatures medieval archer) .

Also I did some Chaos marauders by simply using revenants with heads from frostgrave barbarians (no pics though), the results are servicable but may look a tad scrawny. Now I wonder if using Oathmark Orc bodies would've been more suitable.

Alright, found a couple pics of the marauders, a mix of bits from Frostgrave, Gripping Beast, Victrix, Warlord

I don't have pictures to hand, but I 'resurrected' some revenants for my now aborted European Bronze Age army. Just a case of head swops and filling in the holes in the tunics/neatening up the sleeves. Easy enough to do. Think I used Warlord celt and Wargames Atlantic Irish heads as donors (the WA Irish helmet was also easy to chop the top off and move the crown of the helmet from the revenant across...)

GuyD, I love those kit bashed figures! The Celt chieftain is great and the chaos warriors look suitably ferocious.

I have not (seriously) thought about using them as living Bronze Age soldiers.

The  bodies have integral necks with a  ball joint that fits a socket behind the lower jaw.

It does mean the neck structure is wrong if the head is not facing forward (see the painted example below).

Lol, thank you, now I feel slightly the need to go through my Revenant Infantry to fix that just uncovered unnoticed neck problem  >:(  lol

That Celt chieftain is a lovely conversion! Was thinking about using the main body combined with the Imperial Roman legion Helmets and weaponry. Will see how that goes.

Hmm. He's dead, Jim.  lol
Frankly, he could have his head facing backwards and it shouldn't make a huge difference. Do not see a problem here.

Hey!

Thanks for all the contributions and the lovely work guys! Just as I thought. Strange choice for undeads, but suitable for conversions!

Cheers!
