Everything about that is brilliant. Figures, car, backdrop, composition, concept. Love it.

Yes, great! Maybe the bases could need some sand ...

Thelma and Louise are girl scouts in comparison to them, I guess. Amazing work!

Thanks chaps :D I enjoyed painting the girls,Copplestone sculpts are great , plenty of character. I must say my camera work is still pretty shoddy, advice? And Admiral you are so very right,it seems I only do my bases just before a game (when the figs are in public as it were),I should put the effort before posting up.And finally the car is a Tamiya Command car with Artisan bits and bobs nicked from a recce jeep, the armour is plasticard. This has become a ramble............. :)

Nicly composed shot, funny thing how everone dose things a bit different, I, like you, used to base last and consequently had a large pile of unbased figures. Now I base and sand as initial prep before priming, do the main base colour during painting and only have scenic bits to add at the end - made the unbased mountain dissappear

Base work is always part of the pre-painting ritual with me, too. Just how I've always done it. I hadn't even thought of doing it the other way around. I'm like a five-year-old if you give me glue, grit, sand -anything messy. It gets all over me and all over the figure. If I did it last then the figure would have to be almost totally repainted. Doing it first is my only option. The only exception is grass. That goes on last, after the varnish.

let down by the basing , only a wWIP until the base is finished..we must have some standards or else it is the thin end of the wedge and the downfall of civilisation as we know it..
