Why Prussians? No German Empire in VSF?

All this talk is becoming dangerous. I've been daydreaming about it at work for the last hour or so and it is approaching the level of my thinking about buying figures.

The great VSF Black Hole... sucking in yet another victim!

Ahhh the images of Astro-Hungarians fighting in the ether vs French in their famous red pants is a sight I can't get out of my head.  Quick send for some Jack Tars, Prussian Guards and the Queens Own all advancing to the sound of the Highlanders  pipes, a battle royal indeed.

The good thing about joining this thread so late is it's all been said.  

I use Prussia as I like to keep the German states separate for the sake of later campaigns. As with Plynkes and Red Orc I've thought about creating additional independant states just to add to the VSF feel. I bought a bunch of FPW Bavarians from Foundry a while back to use as the forces for one of the states and got distracted before I could finish them......... now where are they?

When you say "Bavarian", you see sausages and beer. Not half as scary on the battlefield.

At least, I do anyway, and I'm sure I'm not alone. 

I like bavarian uniforms even more than prussian uniforms Bavarians have great helmets!
