Great stuff - those eyes are seriously disturbing!  :o

I thought Haggis had one leg longer than the other - something to do with mating habits...

Not widely believed to be true supposedly.

According to my Wiki research earlier, Haggis have one side of legs shorter than the other so they run in circles (around mountains). However, they can only run one direction.
Their mating habits are about the inability to mount those with one side longer than their shorter side. So the gene becomes stronger and stronger.

I think it is the perfect fantasy creature for a fantasy Scotch army!  lol

Edit: Anyone considered them for a WWW2 highlanders unit?  :D

Ah now I heard that male haggis had one leg shorter and the females had the other leg shorter, which meant they ran round the tops of mountains in opposite directions and were consequently bound to bump into one another sooner or later!
