Maybe try the Cameron Highlanders. I have an old regiment magazine collection. One of those issues focused on the Gurkhas.
(It is buried in my shed somewhere)
I seem to recall that the gurkha rifles was incorporated into the Cameron Highlanders regiment. If you can find their website, you may find pictures.

Since you are doing 2mm scale, I would probably just stick with union jacks for the flags but paint the uniforms khaki for sikh and gurkhas instead of scarlet.

Cheers

Fuzzy.

Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly
down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red
Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture,
torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals.

I think a lot depends on the period. I think a Gurkha Regiment would carry a Union Jack modified with a gold circle in the center containing the regiment's badge as well as the Regimental flag that would be a single color based on the regiments uniform facing. Rifle regiments and other units considered skirmishers would not carry colors but would probably have them on their drums.

Hope that helps

The Indian Army followed the same pattern as the Brits. Two colours for a battalion - The King's/Queen's Colour which is the Union flag, and the Regimental Colour, which is usually in the facing colour of the regiment, with a Union flag in the corner and the unit's insignia in the centre.

British Rifles didn't traditionally have colours. I think the Gurkha Rifles, like the British ones, carry their battle honours only on their drums (Edit: Like Scrapwelder just said).

To contribute something small: Gurkha regimental insignia seem invariably to sport crossed kukris.
