Heine the Mansling and the beginning of his growing "army"

Hi all

I'm participating in powerfist.dk's monthly painting challange, but having had a busy month, I only took it upon my self to paint 8 models for february... That shouldn't have been so hard, yet the quite unusual Danish weather (the snow has been laying thick for over two months now), made it defficult to basecoat. So in an attempt to reach my goal, I searched my boxes for basecoated mini's, and came upon enough to meet the challange in time to finish 

This is five of the figures, belonging to a project set in the Warhammer world.

three zombies, a whight and Heine, my brand new necromancer.




I'm pretty pleased with how the "mood" of the gang turned out, so I think I will continue to paint up a few more minions for Heine from time to time...

See, I'm a silly bugger. When the weather was like that here, I just sat and waited for it to get better rather than paint stuff that was already undercoated. I have loads of it!

My mate spent the whole summer cleaning up and undercoating his whole flintloque collection so he had no excuse not to paint them.

Believe you me, that is one epic task!

You've done really well, I look forward to whatever than nasty weather brings to your painting table!

Having painted three blood bowl minis in the last couple of days, I got tired of the vibrant corlours and went through my minipile to find something suitable for Heine's little gang.

I'm not overly happy with the paintjob, and the picture sucks... but anyways, here it is.

Just wanted to share this one, as I actually like this paintjob (unfortunately, the pictures doesn't bring out her best sides....). She's  Lahmian vampire in "battledress", and not really part of Heine's gang, but anyways...

Seriously though nice paint job - like the contrast between the pallid flesh and bright red robes!
