Great source of photos 1898-1919
« on: 14 March 2010, 06:50:58 PM »
Jimmy Hare was a photojournalist taking pictures from the Spanish American War, Russo-Japanese War, early aeronautical advances, Mexican Revolution and WWI.  One book on his life, pictured belown has some great rare photos in it.

The photo is of Japanese troops during the 1905 Russo-Japanese War.  For lots of candid shots and troops in unforms (or lack of) of warriors in the early 20th century check out his work.

Would love to see more companies do ranges of Japanese miniatures from that era.  Its pretty limited.
