Battle of Sheepwash Bridge (AVBCW)

We have just had our 1st couple of games of AVBCW using " And Was Jerusalem Builded Here" rules which we thought played very well nice and fast with some good extras that can get you thinking.

the battle was centred around Sheepwash bridge Northumberland and the two sides consisted of a joint Anglican League and Republican scottish Force defending the bridge and church from a royalist force. the out come was a decisive victory for the joint forces over the Royalist with the Scottish Auxiliaries inflicting high numbers of casulties on regular and royalist militia forcing them to retreat and give up the attack.

Next week the battle is around the town of Bedlington with the joint forces of the anglican league and Scottish frces attacking the town defended by the royalists.
