Bugger'd got it coming, I am sure. I did not know he is a wargamer.

I think he was there for the Virgin London Marathon thingie which was in an adjacent hall. ;) That said... a no, even with his smugness, I don't really condone physical violence.

As a attendee of salute for the last 8 years mostly either demoing games or running partisipation games through my local club the show is improving at Excell but is still not the same show as I remember it being at Olympia 2 even though I was on the top floor there it seemed to have more of an aura, to me I prefere some of the other shows, Triples the week before was a show well worth the visit to and being a 2 day show I was in no rush to shop most of the stuff I picked up at salute was pre ordered at Tripples, Other notable shows are Bovington in July, Uk games expo in Birmingham (a crossover show well worth a visit) Colours in Newbury and Warfare in Reading. Crusade in Jan in Penarth is also a nice show. Oh and I will be going to Antwerp for the Tin soldiers show which is awesome!!!.

Thats my 5p spent.

Well slept in, shuffled through Whitechapel to Shoreditch to get on the DLR with my hung over mate who was eyeing people up and wanting to scream "SALUTE" at the top of his lungs. Got captured by Akula and Bungle as soon as we entered, turned around and my mate had legged it with the camera.
Played in the zombie game, bought stuff from Hasslefree, made plans to return for Heresy stuff, encountered Captain Blood, Overlord and some fella in snappy clothes who I cant remeber his name (sorry). Stood for a bit as they chatted and then slipped away to continue shopping.
Saw Rifleman Harris and felt sorry for him, but not sorry enough to say hi, wandered about, then left at 2:30 to get food and suddenly relised I hadnt bought any of the stuff I actually wanted ARGHHH!
