Very nice. I'm working on some dismounted Light Horse now. Good to see someone else doing them.

One item you might like to add to your figures is the colour patch worn on the arm.  The Digger History site has very good information on this.  Here is the link to the Light Horse:

Those miniatures are quite nice. I wasn't aware they existed.

Nice models! I like the proportions - much like RifRaf's Rif War range. Maybe those are Ansell sculpts as well?

Very nice work Matt. Maybe it's the photos but the uniforms seem a little greenish in hue. The old AIF uniforms tended to fade more greyish. Colour patches would be a great addition but I suppose that rather reduces the utility.

The 28mm stuff by Ian Mountain is very nice indeed, chalk and cheese with War Miniatures 20mm stuff which is, to be honest, plug ugly. Alas these minis are rather wee compared to Brigade, Copplestone etc so rather limited in terms of use. I saw some sculpts in the flesh and really liked them but alas the size issue  killed any ambition to buy them.

Thanks Carlos, I tried to match a the actual Uniform I have which is faded to a Khaki tan colour, I added some Val british brown to the green to try and achieve the hue, the wash seemd to make it more green, so I am still not happy with my result 100%, very happy with my leather colour though. I did think about Valejo british uniform and then adding a brown wash, maybe the next lot.

I should of done patches, will need to go back and try again!

Size wise a lot smaller than the brigade games 28mm, but I am hoping that the Wartime Turks come out soon!

cheers
matt
