15mm basing?

Hello all.  I tend to go a little overboard with basing my minis.  I have just started getting into Historicals and want to take my Fantasy basing with me to Historicals.  Right now I'm working on a FoW US Paratrooper force and was looking for inspiration.  I was thinking I could have each platoon on a slightly different basing style.  I platoon could be working through a marsh, another barbed wire and possibly a third could be going through a town.  I figure if I use the same type of static grass it would still look unified but be easy to determine who goes where.  Any opinions on this method?

Does anyone have any cool 15mm basing they can show or link to?

Finally are there any companies besides Kerr & King making good 15mm FoW bases or 15mm basing accessories?  As an addition to this question if you've seen a companies products what are your thoughts on them?  Thanks for the help!
