Sharps Pirates - pic heavy

Master Bates leads a unit of Marines ( I know he should be a Sailor and the Marines are Soldiers but I ran out of painting time  )

Sgt Paisley and a unit of Riflemen keeping the Pirates heads down in the fort.

Master Bates again.

Dick Fondler in command of two units of light Infantry. Behind is Sgt ? (can't remember) and Lt Harry Cost each in command of a line unit.

A large French formation which was running out of bigmen due to some bad dice rolling.

Just a couple of notes as someone may ask.

The names (rude) of the characters are from the Sharp Practice rules which are thought up by the Two Lardies.

The figures on the darker bases are mine which need finishing. I have switched to a black undercoat and am much happier with the results. The other figures are by my mate Ray who does a very quick and beautiful paint job.

We feel we have done this scenario to death now so will have to think of something else to use our figures on. I have a couple of units of sailors and Marines to paint so will be eager to use them. I also want to put sails and other bits on the boats as they are a bit bare at the moment.

Oh, love it and I do like the names that TFL see fit to load their characters/big men  with. The Spanish as enemies is a good idea as well.

Thanks all , The Rocket boat is from Britannia. I have a full crew for it still waiting for paint. The other two boats are from Games of War the same as Silent Invaders masterpiece. I have a couple of crews from Britannia for them as well.

Thanks , I've looked at your reports before. Looks like fun. I'm really tempted to do India as I'm reading the Sharpe book which is set in Indian right now.

My mate bought them from the local model railway shop. I think they are locally made.
