Foundry FPW and Crimean cavalry
« on: 13 November 2010, 03:11:23 AM »
Hey guys,
Does anyone have any of the Foundry Crimean War British Heavy Dragoons and/or the Franco Prussian War French Lancers? I have the British Lancers and Sikh Lancers from the Colonial range and they fit nicely with my Perry cav and was wondering if the FPW and Crimean cav are of the same size.
I ask because I have heard some of the older ranges, especially the FPW infantry, are closer to 25mm than 28mm.
I need plenty of European cavalry to go against my horde of native cavalry for my Victorian Fantasy set in Lemuria :D
Thanks Pete

Yes the early FPW range is on the small side, but so is the Crimean, the colonial and Indian Mutiny ranges. So if you have some of those figures already and are happy with them, the others will blend in fine.

Thanks.I wasn't sure if the colonial and mutiny ranges were as small as the FPW and Crimeans.
I also want to try some Foundry Crimean gaurds and Highlanders with my Great War ones. The GW Crimeans aren"t as large as the GW WW1 so it just might work.
