How Come - No Starship Battle Reports?

I was just wondering why there are no starship battle reports in here.

I mean... Starship combat is most certainly "Future Wars".

I might be wrong but think it is most likely due to most members being or at least commenting on 28mm in the main rather than smaller scales, though I have seen a few bits and some little 6mm or smaller VSF stuff on here

currently playing generic starships using the bab5 rules from mongoose and haivng a blast....

(have also been commissioned to build 2 entire spaceship fleets for someone as it happens...¬_¬)

I'll be playing my first Starmada game next week...can't wait! The rules are awesome and so far they seem like the best rules set to me.

I rarely bother taking photos if we play a space ship game. I don't think they really make for much of a visual spectacle. I did post a report once, though.

I was about to post a similar question, when I surprised myself by actually looking to see if the question had been asked before. I gather from several comments that the listers consider Future Wars mostly interested in human figures, though I think 28mm vs 15mm may be too restricting.

I'm a regular on the VSF board, and love the ether flyers I see on occasion, but I also push ships on the table from B5, Star Trek, Star Wars, BSG, and universes not yet seen in media.

My question is: Would discussions just about fleets burning noiselessly in the aether be welcome here, or should I be thinking of suggesting a separate board?

Oh, if my search was less than exhaustive and this HAS been discussed, a link to same would be humbly appreciated.

There's no need for a separate board, as nobody is currently dicussing the topic.

On the other hand I'm sure if people want to discuss it here on this board then nobody would have a problem with that.

War Rocket, interesting.

Bab 5, BGFG and all that, slightly interesting but just not my 'thing'. I think most of the people prefer the humanity of individuals and their relation to vehicles and things.

I dunno. Post Apocalypse is probably the most frequent on this part of the forum, but its always nice to see other things.
