Hello everyone

I am currently situated in Edmonton Canada and have been painting on and off since the early 90’s. In fact I learned how to paint from this book.
As I am sure a lot of us have, therefore my painting style is still kind of stuck in the 90’s and has not evolved much. I’ll paint anything but my favorite topic is old school fantasy miniatures so I think that I’ll probably be spending most of my time in the fantasy section.
Cheers,
Damien

I love wombats! Great over an open fire.
Thanks for the welcome, I think this is the best forum on the web, so much variety.

Hi Bako,
Mike Mcvey was my hero, he had an old Knight Panther (Blanche inspired) conversion that blew me away. Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks Calimero, I just moved to Edmonton from Quebec, c'est dommage que Chicoutimi soit si loin de Montréal... J'aurais aimer aller faire un tour par chez vous la prochaine fois que je retourne à Montréal. On aurait pu jouer quelques games; la seule game que les gens aime jouer à Montréal c'est 40K.
Hi Bako, I think it has changed for the worse, when this 'painting guide' came out I ran out and bought it (along with the space marine one); what a disappointment! My 8 yr old niece could have painted better; what a waste of money.
Thanks for the warm welcome DeafNala!
Cheers everyone

Funny, isn't it
?
The guide might be rubbish (prolly aimed at the younger entrants to the hobby no doubt) but I've never seen the new book so's dunno's.
All the same though, cheers.

You didn't miss a thing, here is a sample; talk about lowest common denominator.
The skin of this orc was painted some red/grey/white mix (the guy must have been drunk)
It was all pooh
