I posted some pictures the other day of the covers of a series of books originally published (I believe) during the Great War called "Unter Deutscher Flagge", depicting the exploits of the German military in various far-flung corners of the world. Some interest was expressed in seeing more of these, and links to the source were requested.
Unfortunately they no longer seem to be up on the site where I originally found them, so I have uploaded those that I have to my LAF gallery for the benefit of any LAFers who might like such things. They are done very much in a jingoistic, stirring Boy's Own style, the same way British colonialism was portrayed at the time. Even so, still great pics, hopefully a little inspiring for those of us toiling away at colonial armies.
>>Link to Gallery<< Unfortunately I only saved the ones with a colonial theme. There were lots of others too, such as Franco-Prussian War etc. But at least we can enjoy these ones.
