I need a bridge!
« on: May 06, 2011, 07:20:04 PM »
I need a 28mm stone bridge/walkway to bridge a 8cm wide canal for a project I am planning. All bridges I have found seem to be too long. Any advice out there?

There's a couple here I use, their span might be just short of what you're looking for though.

Saying that I've just been up to measure mine (bridge that is) and it's 10cm wide. Look towards the bottom of the page of the link above, code WR16b.

8 cm? why don't you sculpt it by yourself? some styrene would work great, or some plaster, if you have the time to make some plaster boards!

Bridges are very simple to make.
I made this one years ago out of cardboard.

I have some more photos of other types of bridges I have made. Wooden and steel girder bridges made out of basla wood and card.

Using another scale! clever!

Thanks for the other proposals but I forgot to write that I am very lazy... ;)
