At last the 1938 Show

Finally, after lurking without publishing an image for getting on for oooh 18 months...I was finally enthused enough to post some of the stuff I've been working on...

So this is part of the Prep for the VBCW Big Kent Game at the end of October...

First section of RW Kents Territorials, advancing with support from an (unfinished) A9 Cruiser passing a BUF inspired Mural on a local terrace in the West end of Canterbury (BUF sympathies), you'll also spot a couple of Musketeer British Militia lurking in the background...



Excuse the empty pint glass in the background, ahem, creative juices and all that...Also the terrible photography, bad camera and no talent for taking pictures.

More will follow once I get my head around Wordpress...

The figures are very nice, but being perverse what really caught my eye was the mural. What a splendid idea, and I don't think I have seen this or anything like it in other VBCW terrain, top marks for that!!!

Yes indeed, it looks very good - I'm willing to forgive the bad photos when there's such lovely painting on display (I'm not so hot on the photo thing either). It's threads like this that make me want to start up my perpetually-delayed VBCW project again...

Really sorry about the photographs they are horrible, camera phones, say no more.

I like Murals they convey that "if you're not one of us you should start worrying about now.." menace, Bandit country for want of another phrase.

I also think it fits the timeline nicely...I've got another one completed which I will take equally bad pictures of and post...
